The Private Recovery Suite

An exclusive retreat, reserved entirely for you and your guests. Private sauna, steam room and ice bath with no shared spaces, no interruptions and no timetables. Recovery entirely on your terms.

PRIVATE
SAUNA

Our private sauna is a traditional dry heat room built for deep muscular relaxation, heat stress adaptation and full body recovery, reserved exclusively for your booking from start to finish.

  • Triggers heat shock proteins that repair and protect cells from stress and damage
  • Promotes deep muscular relaxation by increasing blood flow and reducing tension throughout soft tissue
  • Reduces cortisol and promotes endorphin and growth hormone release
  • Prepares the body perfectly for contrast therapy with the private ice bath
  • Flushes toxins and metabolic waste through intense, sustained sweating
  • Supports immune function, with regular sauna use linked to significantly reduced respiratory illness
  • Completely private, allowing full relaxation without the presence of other guests

Session length: 10 to 20 minutes per round, with 2 to 3 rounds recommended per visit.

Best used: Alternating with the private ice bath in a contrast therapy circuit. 10 to 15 minutes of heat followed by 2 to 3 minutes of cold, repeated 2 to 3 times, is a well-evidenced recovery protocol.

Temperature: The private sauna can be adjusted on request to suit your preference. Traditional sauna temperature sits between 80 and 100 degrees Celsius.

Who it’s best for: Anyone seeking a deeply private, uninterrupted heat therapy experience, whether alone, with a partner or in a small group of up to 6 guests.

PRIVATE
ICE BATH

The private ice bath is the centrepiece of the suite, a dedicated cold water immersion pool chilled to optimal recovery temperature and available exclusively to you and your guests for the full duration of your booking.

  • Increases norepinephrine by up to 300%, producing lasting improvements in focus, mood and mental clarity
  • Reduces muscle inflammation and soreness, accelerating return to training and performance
  • Creates a powerful vascular pump effect when alternated with sauna, dramatically enhancing circulation
  • Strengthens mental resilience and stress tolerance through voluntary cold exposure
  • Improves sleep quality and reduces symptoms of anxiety and low mood with regular practice
  • Activates brown fat thermogenesis, increasing metabolic efficiency over time
  • Completely private, allowing full focus on breathwork and the cold exposure experience without distraction

Session length: 1 to 3 minutes per immersion. Start with 30 to 60 seconds if you are new to cold water therapy and build up over successive visits.

Best used: After sauna or steam as part of a contrast therapy circuit. Repeat 2 to 3 rounds for maximum physiological benefit. The private setting allows you to focus on breathing techniques without distraction.

Breathwork: Controlled breathing is key to managing the cold shock response. Box breathing (4 counts in, hold 4, out 4, hold 4) or slow nasal breathing are both effective. Our team can guide you through this on arrival if needed.

Who it’s best for: Anyone seeking the full contrast therapy experience in a private, exclusive setting, from first-time cold therapy guests to experienced practitioners.
